- Different people will use their cellphones differently. Personally I do not think that children around 10 years of age should have cellphones because it is unnecessary. However business people will find it a very big help due to hectic schedules and so on. In my school you are allowed to bring cellphones but they must not be used during school, except recess.
- Yeah for sure. It is as important as tv.
- They are a godsend in some situations. I deal with many clients who wouldn't have a cell phone in most circumstances, but they are traveling in their car frequently, have medical issues (either their own or another family member's), or are working outdoors. Heck, I worked for a cell phone company 2 years before I broke down and got one - because I was stranded outside my boyfriend's apartment at 3AM and he lived in a dodgy part of town. It's certainly handy in some situations and a pain in the butt to others. If you like your privacy, don't advertise you have one! If you don't plan on heavy usage, a prepaid plan might be best. That way, if you find you don't need it, you can just let it expire. No harm, no foul.
