Mobile phones?

Why do teenagers have to have a mobile phone hanging off their ear for.?My daughter is 16 and she seems to be obsessed by her mobile and a lot of the teenagers are the same!!

1. C'mon now...at one point in your life you were a telephone hug too...just like everyone else. It is just different techonolgy now because it is wireless!
2. Mobile phones can do wonders, not only talking and messaging. They are also cameras, PDA, navigation, internet access, radio and MP3.... They will be constantly doing some new things with their phone...
3. I guess they think it is in style now having the cellin their ear 24/7!!!! But honestly that looks bad in public and around friends and expecially when u go to order something. You are talkin tothe cashier and also ont eh phone same time but then bitches atteh cashier for supposedly taking the order wrong when they were on the phone talking garbage instead of paying attention. So basically I do not think teenagers shoudl have a cellon them unless it is used for Emergencies and/or calling home or parents calling them.
