Mobile Phones!?

I want to get a new pay as you go mobile phone on Vodafone. I currently have a Sagem my600v which to be honest is rubbish. The keys stick, messaging is terrible, the screen freezes and the alarm keeps changing from a ringtone to just vibration even though it is clearly set on a ringtone! Can somebody please recommend a good cheap mobile phone that I can buy in the UK. I do not want to spend much and it needs to be reliable, so considering a Nokia. I want good battery life, a camera, good memory for holding texts and photos and not too much of a brick! Any help would be appreciated!

  1. Why don't you go into your nearest Carphone Warehouse and pick up their free monthly brochure that tells you all about the phones that are available with features and prices
  2. The K750i i think its called or is it k700i? Well either way you can get it in black, red and silver and it has a greay camera, comes with a big memory card and can store loads of stuff including texts.. Its quite cheap on vodafone? around £90-100
  3. A Sony Ericcson. you can buy memory cards too so you can have extra memory, the cameras are generally great and you can have any ring tone you want as long as its mp3. The battery life is rather good too.
  4. It all depends on your taste and what you want to use the phone for, i.e. texting, photos, email etc. I would suggest you drop into the Vodafone store and have a touchy feely session with the handsets and see what you think. Nokia handsets do have a nice interface but most Vodafone handsets behave in a similar way anyway. Once you have a short list search online for problems people have encountered and ask in the store, they will have sold lots and know any problems with them.
