I need to know how to rewrite cell phone firmware?

I need to pretty much erase and start over my bosses cell phone software as I think that someone is tapping into his cell phones. First off does anyone know if that will help get rid of the tapping and second HOW do I do this exactly?

1. No. No one is tapping his phone. Too much money, too hard, and way too risky. And most taps (government and law enforcement only) are not done at the phone but tied to the central switch and the edn and number of the phone. So if he is tapped then I would find a new boss first. More than likely he is going deaf and shouting and has the phone volume turned all the way up. Very easy to eavesdrop on that with no tap.
2. HOW? I'd hire a professional!
