What would be a good arguement of why cell phones should be alloud in theaters and restaurants?
I am writing a persuasive essay and I can't think of any good reasons why people should be allowed to use cell phones in a restaurant or a theater. Any advice?

- family emergency parental control
- because if something bad was happening, a robbery or some is getting hurt that would be good reason enough.
- they should be able to use them but only for emergencies (if the baby sitter calls and says your son has a 103 temp or your father had a heartatack BUT I think they should still be on vibrate and not just chit chatted on through the whole movie or dinner
- for the simple reason that emergencies DO happen even when your in the middle of a movie or dinner... they don't wait...
- Cell phones are allowed in theaters. Just turn it on vibrate, and step out of the theater if you have to take/make a call. There's no reason for anyone to sit in a movie theater and talk on their phone. It's just rude. As far as talking on your phone in restaurants... I don't really see a problem with it, as long as you're not one of those people who feels they need to raise their voice 5 times the normal speaking level to do so... Unless you're on a date or at some kind of business meeting. In that case, it's just rude to the people you're eating with.
