What is the best way to sync a Smart Phone with a Mac? Whats the best combo of phone and software to do this? I am a recent convert to Mac and am looking at contract renewal time ( Verizon) and want to Sync a Smart Phone with my computer. Seems that only Palm Treo natively syncs with the Mac. Hate having my choices limited. There are several third party software choices out there that can let me Sync with a Windows Mobile device. I really like Outlook better than Entourage...So.... My choices seem to be to buy Parallels and Outlook on my computer and sync it with a windows phone OR...buy a palm and sync it with my Mac and be resigned to using Entourage. Anyone else had this quandry and thought through all of the issues and come up with a coherent answer. Probably need to get Parallels anyway but hate to start up the whole multiple software products to keep the system clean routine. Wondering if Palm/Mac is worth it just for keeping a clean system. May be the only person in America who really doesnt want an I-Phone. Use it for business only and dont care about music. Thanks!

How do you transfer mp3 files from your PC to your SonyEricsson phone, without using Disc-2-Phone software? Disc-2-Phone software is not only the usual Sony rubbish, i.e totally un-user friendly, and a general pain in the ass, but is also not Vista compatible. If I download mp3's direct from say Windows Explorer, the tracks do not show in the 'Walkman' utility. If, however, I add them from Disc-2-Phone, they show perfectly and play as expected. Surely ther must be some way around this, because Sony's own software is always crap, in the sense that all they care about is protecting the 'Sony' brand, and not actually servicing their customers as best they can (mp4 only playback on PSPs anyone??).

Hi guys, I have a Motorola E770V mobile camera phone. # The phone and software worked well on XP but i am now on Vista, I was told by shop manager that there is a fix for XP programmes to run on vista. My software disk is version 4.0. Does anyone know how to sort this out/ I seemed to have loaded the tools side ok but the computer wont recognise my phone so the swecond part installation wont work. I also changed the screen resolution somehow and I dont know how to fix it. The computers screen is normal untill I try to install the phones software then the software and my pcs pages text etc is very large, uninstall setup and screen is normal. I remember pressing 256 as I was asked what resolution my camera phone uses, i couldnt find it as there was too much for me to read through as I am disabled suffering many strokes. My mobile phone software wont work? i got a camera phone and i got the software with it, i installed it then followed the instructions, one intruction then told me to insert the DKU-5 cable into my phone then into the PC then i just waited and waited and nothing seemed to be happening, it said that it will take a while for the drivers to download so i left it once for 2 hours and still nothing happened, i tried to install some of the USB port drivers but still to no avail, whats going on? how do i make it work? any info will be greatly appreciated
